The long hard journey.

The great thing about God, is no matter how far we run away, not matter where we turn, he will always be there, and always love us unconditionally. His love and his mercy are always so very present, all we need to do is seek him. This journey in life was never promised to be easy. So often people blame God, or stand in confusion on why life is hard, or why some things have happened to them they find themselves questioning God."why me God?" "Why did this have to happen God?" "Why would you do this God?" Why, why, why is all everyone wants to know. But put aside your pride, put aside your self-centeredness and realize, that time you were raped, that time you were molested, that time you cut your wrists, the time you were crying as you stood on the scale, the time you were angry, the time you thought of or tried to kill yourself, God was with you. He was crying with you, he felt your pain. God says in 2 corinthians 12:8 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Have we forgotten what that means? When you are weak, when you are depressed, when your going through a hard time, JESUS is closest to you, HIS power is made perfect in weakness because he wants to help you, all you need to do is turn to him, surrender it all. When you full heartily want to be free from strongholds, from bondage, from pain that has held you down all you need to do is cry out to God. And he will come to your rescue. The bad things in this world are not Gods fault. God is love, and would never want for that to happen to you, remember he felt that pain that you felt, and he cried every night with you. God is always there to comfort him, but did you ever stop to thing who's there to comfort him? He helps you with your pain, he can take yours away... but what takes away his pain? When you fully give God your all, repent from your sins, and make him center in your life. When he gets the praise he deserves. I've gone down dark roads, and i've made wrong turns, but God has never given up on me, and he will never give up on you. Trust him, you need to surrender. Your freedom is only a prayer away.

Raise your hands, and shout his name - it's your Choice.

God never promised life would be easy, but he did promise to be there and give you strength when it got hard. As humans, we all long for happiness, a feeling of security - a lot of times we go searching in the wrong places for that happiness we long for. And because it wasn't real happiness it faded away, and we find ourselves broken and hurt. It becomes a cycle. We have something that makes us happy - we lose it - were hurting, were broken - we find something else to make us happy - it fades away - were broken, were hurting.. etc. Only when we put 100% into God will we know what true happiness is. Don't lie to yourself, and believe what you want to believe. If your in a spot where your constantly hurting and you can't move, evaluate yourself, evaluate whats changed over the past few weeks and remove it. Our first instinct when told to remove something our flesh desires is no, but you NEED to die to your flesh and allow God to move in and change you. I've been struggling a lot with this, but what happens when you say no, is God takes his peace away. Because your no longer doing his will, and your following your flesh, he takes away his peace - and I don't know about you, but it hurts tremendously. It's a constant heartache, a constant feeling of emptiness. You can fill it for small amounts of times but the pain will always be there - that pain ALWAYS comes back because only Gods peace is meant to fill it, only GODS peace can take away that pain. Are you sick of that empty feeling? Are you tired of crying yourself to sleep every night? are you tired of faking a smile trying to get through the day? are you tired of the temporary high you feel? aren't you tired? I AM. Yesterday, at youth group, I was crying in the bathroom. An older lady walked in, and I apologized because I was a mess. She said, "Hunny don't apologize I was just doing that(crying)" she then did her business washed her hands, and right before she was about to leave she turned back and said I know I'm a complete stranger but I need to give you a hug. And as she's hugging me she had told me she had just given her life to Christ that night it took her 52 years, and that God will get us through our trial and tribulations, he'll give us strength - but a lot of it is on OUR CHOICES. And she was right...Do you want to be sad? - you choose it. Do you want God's peace? Whats more important to you? the temporary happiness or Gods peace? We all have to come to a place in our lives where we need to choose what we want. God and his peace? or your fleshly happiness but constantly feeling emptiness? God is waiting, he is patient, He's saying "Child, just look at me". So what are you going to do? are you going to look at him? Here's your first Choice. God bless.

Rented life, what it means.

As Christians we know this world is not our home. We live for God and look forward to what God has promised to those who love him - heaven. God gave us this life in hopes we'd live for him. This life we have here on earth, is nothing compared to eternal life. It's "rented" were temporarily here... because eventually, we'll move into our house - in heaven with our amazing God. I made this blog because I know apart from the amazing love and Joy God gives us, everyday is still hard. Satan prowls around looking for someone to devour. As Christians we need to stand together and be the body of Christ. I hope maybe some words I may say, God will use to help you or someone else. Check back, i'll keep updating as much as possible. God bless you all.
